• 1. Minimum Attendance Requirement

​The mandatory medical standards for candidates applying to the Agniveer Vayu Musician 01/2026 position are as follows:​

Height Requirements:

• Male Candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 162 cm. ​

• Female Candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm. For candidates from North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cm is acceptable. For candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height is 150 cm. ​

Chest Measurements:

• Male Candidates: Chest should be well-proportioned and well-developed, with a minimum circumference of 77 cm and a minimum expansion of 5 cm. 

• Female Candidates: Chest should be well-proportioned and well-developed, with a minimum expansion of 5 cm. ​

Hearing Ability:

• Candidates should be physically and mentally fit to perform duties in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain. They must be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or communicable disease, infection, and skin ailments. ​
